Tiocan OrchardThe residents of Haut-Jura have chosen several fruit varieties over time that are capable of resisting the climate conditions and altitude of the territory. Shaping the landscape, these traditional cultures are witness to the balance of men with their environment. In the village of Péron, the Tiocan Orchard safeguards on 2.5 ha the oldest fruit varieties - apple trees, pear trees, plum trees - that have grown through centuries of observation and changes. Having inherited the ancient savoir-faire, the Tiocan Orchard cultivates over 250 varieties that are now endangered.
